Infant Daycare

Infant Daycare is different from regular day care. As the name suggests, it deals with the care of infants. This service is available to mothers who are either in a career or just need a few hours away from their baby to run a few errands or head out to a social event. Infant daycare is one of the most crucial in importance or the most important daycare service in the market.

Infant daycare providers are trained to deal with infants; they will feed the baby and see to it that the baby is clean. Infant day care providers perform the same duties that a nanny would perform the only difference being that nannies are hired for longer periods than infant day care providers. They follow the baby's feeding and sleep cycles; they will clean and sterilize the baby's bottles as well wash the baby's clothes.

In cases where the parents can afford to hire the infant day care provider on a permanent basis, the care provider will be responsible for the baby and will be available full time to take care of the baby; the mother will then be free to attend to their careers. The care giver will follow up on all medical appointments and administer any medicines that the baby has to take. Infant day care providers are available from agencies or from referrals from colleagues or friends. It is important to check their references thoroughly because you will be granting them access to your child and home, in some cases they will be unsupervised.
